Digitization of the agricultural sector

The Bogota Chamber of Commerce recognizes the importance of digitization in the different economic sectors as an engine to detonate productivity and accelerate economic growth. This is how the Action Plan presented here becomes a fundamental tool for the development of the country and, in particular, of the agricultural sector, since it monitors the state of incorporation of technologies in the productive process of said sector, proposes necessary actions to help all its entrepreneurs to take a leap in terms of digital transformation, and build pillars of understanding to incorporate information technologies in companies, with special emphasis on micro and small companies, which are the base of the country's productive pyramid.

The analysis of the state of digitization of the agricultural sector carried out in this document allows defining a series of objectives aimed at stimulating the digital transformation of the sector.
