COLCO is an international project based on a partnership between the UK and Colombia to transform the way farmers produce cacao in Colombia. The UK-based COLCO team includes expertise ranging from data science and service design to manufacturing and plant science, with the Colombian partners including cacao specialists, technologists, and business support experts. Together the consortium is developing an ecosystem of support for cacao farmers and producers and is helping to transform quality and yield in the pre- and post-harvest phases of the cacao supply chain.
